I just use a piece of 3/16" aluminum rod that I wrap around a large object, cut to length plus 3/4" on each end and then bend each end 90 degrees inward. 6061 works good but if you use 3/16" TIG welding rod use the softer 4043, not 5356. I've made close to a hundred of these that we use to send out pre-installed with our lightened flywheels / balanced clutch kits and they worked great! Also if you go with a reduced head 12 point flange bolt it makes thing a bunch easier!
