I took you questioned for speedometer output signal and answered accordingly. Ari is absolutely right on sine that tranny sensor gives to speedometer. You do need 9K speedometer PCB to convert transmission sine to 5V logic signal and it isn't that complex at all.
The other way to go is... ABS ECU, but I still haven't happened to make my friend giving me a ride while I'm hanging over ABS with oscilloscope so I can't say for sure if it has summing speed output pin or not. I dismantled ABS ECU and found a couple of pins that might be giving me that signal but w/o final check I can not recommend that way to go with.
But you'd agree that it's only ABS that knows the best on how fast we're going.

P.S.
The 3rd option (I suppose you're installing Trionic onto your C900) is to drive your engine management system with the speed signal from your stock C900 speedometer. It gives quite the same signal as 9K does.
