1986 Saab 900 hatchback, 8v, 5 spd. My carpet started getting wet and finding where it was coming from wasn't too hard. The seal for the rear side window (manual) has shrunk about two inches, leaving a big gap. I did a search and one post said to cut it and piece it with an old piece of seal in the gap. My problem, I can't find any used seals in any of the local auto salvage yards. Is the weather seal available from any supplier, I only need 12 inches at the most to fix both sides. One idea I had was to try to stretch with a heat gun, has anyone tried this ? Any other different ideas on how to fix this?
