If you can get good used springs for little or nothing, I see no reason not to run with them for a while. They are pretty easy to install on the whole, and the result will fix your immediate issue. If c900s had struts or other components that were difficult to work with I might have another opinion, but just replacing springs isn't too big a deal. Maybe cut a coil off of them to lower your CoG a bit and make them easier to install. :)
