it's the passive belt variant (turns out that the normal belt variant has the two finger adjuster loop at the outer lower edge of the seat and that awful inverted "T" at the back on the drivers seat) that means that the seat mounts are the later style, like in the 9000 with four bolts. I could put 9000 Aero seats in the front and may do that ( of course they won't fold forward either) and am just kicking around some ideas. the 9-5 ventilated seats seem very interesting! I will take the seat belt setup from a 1990 c900 base model, headliner and all, to "upgrade" to non passive belts as I do the seat upgrade. I have some power fronts from a 1994 convertible so may look at moving them over but would have to re-skin them with the proper color leather.

as to the lemons event, nope that was rbanks on the east coast.

I ran in December and had massive transmission issues. Anything outside of California is too far for me, although several years ago I did tow my car to Houston.

I did just pick up another 9000 Aero with 5 speed and so am considering mothballing my 1987 c900 racer and starting anew with a 9000. Raced in a 1992 9000 with some Houston friends, and know it will be a long process to create another car, especially one that I'm not as familiar with the deep guts of as I am on the c900... but the transmission is supposed to be much stronger! Any technical comments always appreciated.
