More on my problem from February 28th.
Quick back story, after 3 new fuel pumps, my car finally starts. Now the CEL is on steady and the Shift Up light is constantly flashing. The car runs like poo where it tries to stall whenever I try to drive off from a dead stop. I have to start off VERY gently until it's above 1500 RPMs. A previous post mentions the possibility of a bad ECU.
I have made sure the battery is completely charged before running the next couple tests.
Siegfried suggested that I test the voltage drop from the ECU ground connections to a known ground on the body. I am not exactly sure how to check voltage drop but I attached the red lead to the back of the ECU grounds and the black to the known body ground. it read .03V. Than I made a temporary ground wire from the ECU to the known body ground and it did not change how the car is running.
My local Pull-A-Parts only have 2 9000's one is a 1989 9kS and the other is some type of (not Aero) 1993 9k turbo. Will either of those ECUs work in my car even if it's only long enough to determine if that's the problem?
Thank you
BrettH
