Wow, my '93 900 Turbo Convertible has been doing this since I bought it in 2008. Sounds like it may be the same problem. The problem comes and goes. Sometimes the alarm system, and electronic locks don't work, and all of the radio presets get lost after I park it. The car has died in traffic, and then refused to start (starter would not turn). After having it towed, to a SAAB mechanic, it started right away, and the problem refused to repeat itself. Two SAAB mechanics have looked at it a few times, but no one has figured it out yet. I know that it's not the tail lights causing it. I've done the tail light ground fix, and also proved it by disconnecting all the tail light connectors, and the problem still persisted. I've cleaned and added grounds, and, replaced the ignition switch. Now I have some new main power cables, battery positive and negative, on order, and will replace those. If that's not it, someone said that it might be the brake system accumulator sucking the voltage down.
