OK, so 5 out of 6 of my hubs have a warp to them, causing rotor problems. One is literally perfect, the others are somewhere around 3-5 1000's out. Just checked on Eeuro, no dice. Frankly, with this many bad ones, i wonder if there isn't a good turning or shim solution for this? I have been told about having the rotors turned on the vehicle, but limited resources around here...I hate lumpy brakes with a passion, plus i think it makes a car dangerous. so, before springing for more rotors, i want to get a 100% fix for this.
FWIW, i am using a dial gauge with a magnetic base stuck to the backing plate, and i wipe the surface rust off first with a little wet and dry. I am measuring the run out on the narrow band outside of the bolt holes. .
TIA!
