I got an adapter wheel kit made by Dennis Lin that allows me to mount the cps shutter wheel to my crank pulley. I lose my AC, but my compressor is on its way out anyhow and I am a windows down guy all the way! The CPS is the most complicated part of the project. The rest is mounting up some hardware, splicing some wires, and then tuning the car. Fortunately I'll be employing Mike D to help me with the conversion, and to the best of my knowledge, he was the first person, at least in North America, to T5 a c900. He's got many successful conversions under his belt.
The reason I'm going T5 is because I've got a low boost issue in the car, and it's related to a bad distributor with a bad connector and ball hall sensor. Also, there is a dealer installed alarm wired into the coil which is causing issues... oh, and the 85 wiring is junk too. So, due to all of those things, it makes much more sense, both short and long term, to go T5. LH parts are becoming hard to find. T5 stuff, for the most part, is still readily available.
