TWO Switches... Posted by Larry West [Email] (#1140) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Larry West) on Wed, 25 Jul 2012 08:32:13 In Reply to: how does trunk light turn off?, Per, Tue, 24 Jul 2012 13:29:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Yes, there is a switch, as Bill explained, BUT in the hatches (at least. I just can't recall now if the sedans had this "feature" as well), you also have a switch on the lamp itself. This switch has three positions:
a) light ALWAYS off
b) light switched on via trunk or hatch operated switch
c) light ALWAYS ON
(not necessarily in that order...)
Most of us end up leaving them in the always off position so it can't drain the battery, and only turn it on when needed...
