Sharing a do and a don't for C900

Just got home from work after a nice long drive with top down on 92 vert on a beautiful warm summer night in Milwaukee and want to share 2 things that maybe you C900 owners know or don't know.
DO put Bridgestone Potenza's on your C900! The car wants those! I've had them on for a year now and they are absolutely the best tire for this car.
They hug the road so perfect and are so smooth riding! The car handles so well with these that I'd put it up against any other European vert of that vintage around curves and on the straightaways especially at 70+ mph! WOW!
I currently own 5 Saabs and have probably owned 25 in my lifetime and have tried many tires before and these are simply the best!
Second, DON'T live with a cruise control that works intermittently or not at all for your '92 or I think '91-93,94 vert when the doggone brain was faulty! I did for many years because a new brain is like $250 or so if you can find one. I followed a link on retrofitting an older cruise brain from an '86 and it works EVERY time now.
So, between the cruise control that works 100% now and those Potenzas - I'm lovin' driving the '92 while I still can before it hibernates in the garage for the winter! Just had to share this with all of you.
Saabs are such awesome cars - everyone of them - how can they not be being made anymore! I just still can't believe it! I will still drive them until I can't anymore and will be proud of the heritage and hope that someday, they'll be back.
