If the passenger side front wheel bearing is bad, the noise should increase when turning to the left. When you turn left you shift the load to the right front wheel, thus further stressing the bearing. I live near a 55 mph divided 4 lane state highway that most of the time doesn't have a lot of traffic. I find a deserted stretch, drive about 45 mph, and do a few L-R, R-L swerving manuevers. It is really obvious if it's a wheel bearing. Just make sure nobody is around when you swerve. :-)
