Never seen that before. I've removed the passenger side upper control arm bushing bracket (the part that Arabiflora busted on the driver side) & installed new bushings w/o much fuss. My method was to hold the upper arm down w/rope (forget to what). I don't know if there's room to do this on the driver side....worth investigating though.
