Actually a '91 to '93 Classic 900 non turbo (2.1) and a '91 to '93 9000 both turbo and non turbo are the same head! Both 90mm bores (same head gasket). Your compression ration will be a tiny bit less and you will need to go with a 2.1 C900 fuel rail and intake manifold as well as the fuel pressure regulator, bracket and fuel hose from the regulator to the fuel rail. Be sure to get a 2.1 intake manifold gasket as the intake ports are larger however the exhaust ports are the same. If your '88 is an early 1988 with the external oil lines under the valve cover the '93 900S head has internal oiling so you won't have to mess with the little oil lines and and their connections! Pretty much a plus all the way around!
