I am not discounting all I have been educated about the distributor here. How ever should not the dizzy normally be aligned with engine on TDC compression stroke and distributor close to aligning with the # 1 cyl wire electrode in the cap? Of course just push it in seems an easy fix, but really am I wrong to believe it should just as easily push in and align with the factors as stated. Also another good point was made about the distributor hall sensor sending a good impulse to the ECU. But it did fire once, but then only with either. YES I am still struggling for another 1 1/2 hours last evening. I have not had any one around to crank the car so I can easily check for spark. Perhaps tonight.
