As I recall it, you can fit a regular open-end wrench down in there, kind of angled at a 45 instead of straight out perpendicular to axis of bleeder. Use socket to get it loosened up first. Then use open-end, managed with one hand, to loosen bleed screw more, or set it down just onto its seat. Practise first, I think you'll find it doable. Wear nitrile gloves and reaching into that nasty place isn't so bad. Plenty of light makes it easier too.
Loosening and tightening during bleeding, use the open end wrench. Then once bubbles stop and you've set the bleeder down onto its seat, pull the hose and use your socket setup to give it the extra nudge that makes it good.
If you want to do the air bleed route instead and don't have an inner tube visit a bike shop, they'll usually give you an old tube from the trash. It can have a leak, for bleeding use. Won't lose air fast enough to matter. Or, cut it right where the hole is.
