Guys,
the articulation of the front suspension is such, that angles change a lot upon suspension travel. In other words: if your springs are worn or if you go with lower springs (or if you go to standard spring back from lowered ones), then you've got to re-align the things.
The easiest way to monitor these things (on the frond end) is to measure the B-dimension (see figure #1 on page 601-1 in your Bentley manual) - the distance between the top of the rim and the seam line between the fender and the bonnet (or the hood for the New World) - after you're done with the alignment. And if one day you notice that this dimension B goes changed, then you've got to either re-align the suspension, or change the springs.
On the rear end the suspension travel doesn't change the alignment for the rear end, but if affects camber on the front end: with worn rear springs (or with some spring spacers added) you gonna be out of specs.
The only thing on the rear end which changes with suspension travel is the angle of turn (probably, I'm using incorrect term) since the rear axle moves to ones side or another when travelling up or down because of the Panhard rod there.
Zig
P.S.
My B-dimension is a couple of inches less, then the specs for the standard chassis. And know what? Camber is -0.5 (negative!) degrees (specs are 0.5+-0.5 - positive!). Yes, it gives Valkyrie very sporty look, but I gonna go try new springs in a couple of months. Probably, they'll be of Bilstein brand.
