drivers side upper control arm bushings, especially the front one if you are driving a turbo. heat from the exhaust disintegrates the bushing and makes wheel alignments difficult. changing both is difficult without taking the spring out, which itself is a witch of a job and getting it back in is tough too. i ended up putting lowering springs in instead, makes future ball joint work etc much easier!
if you clean out the driveshaft tunnels, dont leave them dry and empty, get a film of thick grease (or something!) on the metal to prevent rust. the rocks and crap that was in there may have prevented rust.
shift shaft seal, inner driver flanges if worn, rebuilt driveshafts, ball joints, front wheel bearings, etc .
