I was fairly certain that I could swap just about any year speedo head into my car. The question really is this I guess; which other speedo will give a correct reading as far as actual speed? As I mentioned in my original question, I've already replaced my '93 vert speedo with a speedo out of a '91 vert. Milage reading is off considerably. I really don't feel like going thru the trouble to remove that one again. I'm used to the speedo being off after two years of looking at it! I'm looking to avoid that inaccuracy this time around though. Has anyone successfully transplanted a speedo from a different year into an '88 and gotten what seemed like an accurate speed reading? Thanks in advance and thanks to Justin and Jon for taking the time to reply. PS: How did I know that Jon would have a picture to accompany his answer? Man that guy is thourough! Bob
