Well, that was a pretty easy fix..... Posted by vsfoxe [Email] (#1025) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vsfoxe) on Sat, 8 Dec 2012 19:34:15 In Reply to: 1994 TC, very little heat. Drained a little coolant. Undid 6 hose clamps and removed the bypass thing. Chucked it! Took the TOP heater valve hose and installed it onto the BOTTOM of the heater valve. Took the BOTTOM heater valve hose and installed it onto the TOP of the heater valve. By swapping the hoses, the top heater valve hose lines up nicely with the hose which hooks onto the coolant pipe running fore/aft under the Intake Manifold, and the lower heater valve hose 90 degree end points right down at the other original short hose. All I needed was a couple straight 3/4" copper pipe connectors, for $2.00 plus tax total. Had to work some to get the connectors into the original coolant hoses. I cut about 2" off the joining end of one heater valve hose, and about 3/4" off the joining end of the other heater valve hose. Hooked everything up using the 6 original clamps. It looks like there are two types of clamps, some #28, some #32. Used the #32's where the copper connectors were installed. Filled the coolant overflow tank with mixed coolant, warmed the system up and bled air out (not much air). The car has great heat now. Thanks, Bill & Paul! Vern
