The wiring diagram in Bentley doesn't show this microswitch in the AC circuit for '87, like it does for the '85. Bentley shows that the '85 and '87 AC circuits are substantially different. On the '87 it shows that the AC compressor relay is wired to the throttle position switch (the black one on the INBD side of the throttle body) for WOT cutout.
The switch I'm trying to figure out doesn't change state at WOT, but at idle. It would be in the same state at part throttle as it would be at WOT, so I don't think it would be related to AC cutout.
