Like Saabnutt said, they glued the rotor onto the dissy shaft on a lot of c900s. Once you break it off (should be replaced anyway) no need to glue the new one.
The metal rotor which is actually the trigger wheel for the hall sensor is a bit harder. Put the dissy in a wood vice- don't use a hard vice because it can dmg the dissy. Next, remove the cir-clip. Then use two flat screw drivers to pry the trigger wheel up and off the shaft. If you bend up the wheel it'll need to be bent back to prevent interference with the hall sensor.
