Can you put the distributor in 180 degrees backwards on a 1990 turbo? I've pulled my original due to bad hall sensor. The one I replaced with is acting up. Car starts but runs BAD! Shifter light blinks, check engine light comes on and if i put foot on throttle it sputters and spits then stalls. it sounds like its on 2 cylinders. I pulled distributor out and tried to spin 180 degrees and put in but it would not go in. It seems to go in one way only. Damn Bentley had spark plug wire hook up wrong so now I think I have it right. From front of car the top left hook up on cap goes to plug 1, then I have bottom left connected to 3, bottom right to 4 then top right to 2. 1342

Thanks for any help.
