I've run into a door lock issue that has me stumped. I picked up a 90' SPG a few months ago and when purchased the power door locks were not working. I have run into this issue numerous times before with classic 900's, so when I finally had a chance to look into the issue I replaced the control unit (under the dash on the passenger side) which didn't solve the problem. It turns out the fuse was blown so I replaced it and the locks started working, but when I turn the ignition on it blows. I moved onto the next usual suspect, wiring and looked at the area behind the door hinges (under the hood) where the car chassis wiring connects to the door wiring harness, but to no avail all of the wiring is in tact and in good order.

Any thoughts? Can someone tell me where the central lock system is grounded? I did check the main ground at the ignition housing and is OK.

FWIW, i did spend some time searching the board for suggestions but nothing that I found fit the symptoms. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
