Brand new ignition switch in this bad boy. As for the check valve, that may be worth looking at, but as I said, I can turn the ignition to on and hear the pump run and stop when pressurized. It still does the same thing. I had read somewhere that the 900 had a crank sensor, similar to the newer Saabs. I did not know of any sensor and inquired in my post and some wise@ss already commented that there is none. My next work will be a thorough inspection of the ignition system. I'm not too hopeful about that as it is pretty much new. Beyond that and I'm wondering if it is something in the electronic ignition/fuel control ecu or one of the relays.
