a couple of questions. first have you had the flywheel resurfaced? if it gets too thin it moves the pressure plate too far from the slave and the slave has to extend out too far doing it's work.
second, when you put the new slave it, what method did you use to engage the pressure place with the slave? ie, three fat nuts, the ring keeper for the pressure plate, or some other method. It is possible to hurt the slave if you let it extend too far in any of those methods, it's also mentioned in the Saab Factory docs to be careful of doing this.
Third, have you replaced the pressure plate and/or the disk? How close to the rivets is the disk? check to make sure you are in spec.
Fourth, do you have a SPEC pressure plate installed? they require a higher pressure and I personally have NOT found a slave that will last long with the SPEC clutch in my 9000. it's a pain...
Lastly, are you using the stock fluid in the system or did you put an exotic something in there? if so consider flushing and put the spec stuff in.
