So- car was out of order for some time before I got it. P/o claimed only a few months. I got it running and took it for its maiden voyage, filling it with fuel and getting it cleaned at the caraway. It started and ran reasonably well at this point.
After filling it with gas, I noticed a strong gas odor and found the leaking grommets on the fuel tank. When I removed those with the hoses and replaced, I started her up and drove down my driveway and about a 1/4 mile when she conked out. I towed her home and thought the problem was maybe that hose pictured was not a return, but he actual fuel line and it was disconnected from the pump, leading to my problem.
It is entirely possible that my mucking around or the new tank of fuel stirred things up and clogged it, but I don't know.
As stated before, it sort of starts after sitting a few minutes but won't actually start and run.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
