under 50 degrees, doesn't start. +50 degrees, starts... Posted by gfreshski1 [Email] (#1116) [Profile/Gallery] (more from gfreshski1) on Mon, 27 May 2013 18:50:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
...right up!!! This has happened 3 times in the past 2 months. Last week, my wife and I were all ready to go away for Memorial Day weekend, car idled for 15 minutes. Just as we sat in the car and put the GPS together, the car turns off. Strange. It restarts, runs for 2 more minutes then cuts off again. Then it does not run again. We opted for a Staycation thanks to the Saab not cooperating (it's getting really hard to convince her to keep the ole girl). 2 days later (today), I go to turn it on and it starts right up. The difference is 2 nights ago it was 48 degrees and rainy. Today it was in the 70's. Similar to what happened in Vermont. Freezing in the am, won't start, warms up to 52 degrees, starts but runs rough until the engine warms up, then runs normally. I am at a loss. Any ideas what this could be? Maybe a temperature sensor? Thanks guys!
