Thanks guys - those are great pointers I hadn't thought about.
Basically the hydraulic system (clutch/brakes) is shot. Master/slave clutch cyls need rebuilds, the brake master is apparently dead due to being dry too long, and the calipers are locking up.
The top is shredded and there's rust around the lower edges. Minor nits like passenger headlight wiper assembly and a ding in the bumper cover, and the body needs a fresh coat of paint. Otherwise, from 20 ft it looks good, and the motor was cranking on first turn of the key last week.
The transmission could use new synchro's to be perfect, but otherwise it's in good shape, motor good. The passenger seat foam popped the skin from moisture before I realized the top was leaking.
To have a shop fix it up, I'm looking at about $5000.00. I have another project languishing, so I just can't take on this one too. I'm in Miami, FL.
If I missed answering any questions, I'll check back in the morning. Thanks again for all the great advice!
Thanks,
Chris
