ID two small wires grounding on alternator case?

I don't know if other years have these wires, but on my 85t there are two black wires attached to a grounding bolt on the alternator case. This isn't the regular alternator ground cable, but two small black wires attached to the same connector and bolted onto the case.
I noticed that one of them was broken and after I reattached was wondering what they could be for.
Thanks!
