Am I safe to assume that the red colored fluid in the lines, is ATF? The top seems to lower ok, but raises poorly.
I partially lowered the top to look at the cylinders, and both are wet at the top; the drivers side more noticeable than the passengers.
For the meantime, I may add fluid and hope to get through the summer. Since the top has worked great for 5 years, I think fluid will get me another 3 months. There doesn't seem to be excessive leakage. It's just kind of wet, and I think I finally hit a "low point" in the reservoir.
Which brings up the question, how do I fill the reservoir? There looks like a little white plug at the top of one side. Is that the fill hole?
