Hoods are as shown in my post that K-Saab linked to (also linked below).
Now, you are talking about the labels that appeared on the "wings" of the hood. These changed a few times over the years, and I can't recall all of the changes or variations. They may also have changed some by market. My info is only certain for the USA market.
What IS certain is that all turbos, except for SPGs, had "turbo" in that location on each "wing" of the hood for most, if not all, years. On other models, it would have been blank, or something else would be there. I know they did use a small "SAAB" there for a while, but I don't know exactly when.
They are all held on with adhesive tape, so there is absolutely no difference in the metal.
