I believe the AIC is acting up on my '93 vert: sometimes the idle drops down to 400 to 500 rpm, other times (usually after using some boost), the idle rises to 1250 - 1300 rpm, and has to have the car shut off in order to reset it to its normal 850 or so rpm level. I believe the AIC is the culprit in this case (although is could be an unmetered air leak, I suppose, but don't think so); what should I clean/lubricate the AIC mechanism with? WD40, carb cleaner? TIA
Lawrence
