after just wrestling it all in, and mine was particularly painful I think because the turbo exhaust mani was resurfaced which angled the entire thing toward the block......I'll try the annealed copper gasket first and see if it will damn up the oil above the bolt. If it is still leaking after the 30 minute run in, the I suppose I will start loosening the various bits and see if I can wiggle the drain pipe off.
Wish I would have known about the warped flanges....I would have ground it flat before reassembly!
A shame that someone can't piece together a FAQ......These items will BITE you in the ARSE......
