...without removing the engine! And, you don't have to cut a hole in the wheel well either! Just got done doing it - have to take AC compressor and bracket out, alternator out (definitely a pain), oil filler tube and oil filter housing, spring AND spring perch (crucial to remove the perch or it won't come out) Then carefully jack up engine with block of wood near the drivers side motor mount for support and unbolt the engine mount (also definitely a pain) then when motor mount out jack engine up about an inch and it comes out through the engine bay. Took a long time to do being that it was the first time I ever did it. Lost track of the hours and worked on it multiple evenings. Bentley says no way to do without engine removal - WRONG! Been driving it all week now and drives great - while I was at it, I replaced lower control arm along with both ball joints, tie rod end and upper and lower control arm bushings. FUN, FUN, FUN!
