Thar was the range provided to me by this forum when I bought mine. It croaked at 138.5K. Just sayin'.
It will initially start shifting slowly, then one day you'll be sitting at a light and......nothing. If you are lucky, shifting it manually down into first will bring it to life just long enough to get you home.
If you are unlucky, you will talk yourself into trying a professional flush and refill to see if you can bring it back to life. That cost me a hundred bucks and brought the tranny back to life for about 14 miles.
Once it fails to engage, I'd guess you've got no more than 50-100 miles left before complete failure.
