so I went and looked at your ad. It's only been up a week, so I think you just need to be patient. Posting here to generate looks at your ad probably crosses the line of what is acceptable on this bb. Posting here wondering how to sell these cars where there is a limited market is however a valid topic I think... The reality is there are not *that* many people willing to buy a kind of nice 20 year old project car that's going to take a couple $k to get running nicely again (more or less depending on how much and what quality of interior and rust repairs they do). TSN classifieds are a great place to sell it as more c900 loonies will look here than craigslist, and it filters out all the folks who don't know anything about these cars (hopeless buyers that waste your time)... Enticing someone to cross that line and become a buyer requires either patience to find the right person or a super cheap price... Photos would not hurt either. Even if the car is ratty, lots of people don't even look at an ad with no pictures. I know my interest is lowered by lack of photos, and many others have posted the same in the past.
FWIW, I'm not interested in buying a vert or anything... but the topic is interesting as I've seen a similar vert for sale locally by a seller "in a hurry"... that guy keeps dropping his price, but it's a parts car... he's at $650 now... I've talked to a few other guys with c900s they just couldn't sell. One decided to keep it. The other got rid of it. I wish I had bought that one for parts (he would have taken $300 I think) because it was identical to one of mine and had a good tranny... but no space for a car that rough with no turbo... sigh...
In summary: post pictures, be patient...
