Good photo! See the slot in the bottom of your Ignition Lock Cylinder? That slot has to turn the gear that is directly under it (the one that is at an angle). The gear has two tabs that stick up about 1/8" and engage that slot in the bottom of the Ignition Lock Cylinder. Those tabs break off sometimes - then the lock will just rotate inside the cylindrical hole, never engaging the two tabs. If the 2 tabs are still there and 1/8" tall or so, your gears are fine, and the Ignition Lock Cylinder needs to be replaced. However it is most LIKELY that the tabs broke off, your lockset is fine, and your gear(s) need to be replaced. Vern
