Nice tips - I just picked up a set of Dover gray aero seats too and was working on the same project. I was planning to use JB weld also. Here is a bunch of photos from a guy in Europe who did his. Didn't come out as tight as I would want mine, but good to have a resource.
Here's his advice:
It depends on how handy you are with a cutter and welding machine.
It's not that hard to do, if you know how to use those tools.
If you want to keep the seats electric, drill out the rivets and cut the welds so you can remove the back part from the seat. Switch the non-folding back with the folding one. and weld over the braces/bars from the aero seat.
In case of a manual seat, cutting off the braces and re-weld them to the 900 frame is enough.
The holes for the lumbar support are already in a 900 seat so installing that is a breeze. (In a vert you have to raise the folding mechanism to the upper hole of the seat frame, like in a coupé)
