When I do it the Sacramento area Pick-n-pulls I take an old shovel handle to pry off the front the shock from it's lower mount. I've also used a 4 foot cheater bar. That puts the control arms in a fully extended position. Then it's just the good old spring compressors. On the rear I also remove the lower shock bolt. Then I often need a large screwdriver and pry bar the get the shock free from the trailing arm. Then remove the 2 bolts holding the pillow block to the body and the spring falls out. I probably remove the front torque rod bolt too. I'm also prone to remove more than neccessary so there no doubt some other shortcut suggestion by others to be considered.
