Anybody Know What Can Be Used For A Fuel Line Repair Fitting? Posted by RS [Email] (#15) [Profile/Gallery] (more from RS) on Sat, 22 Mar 2014 08:45:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Is there some kind of double-ended barbed fitting that can be used to repair a fuel line up by the fuel rail?
Repaired the fuel line in my '89 a few years ago by cutting about an inch off of it and forcing it up onto the banjo fitting. It worked well up to now. A few days ago I started smelling gas. Opened the hood this morning and saw that the line at the banjo fitting has started to weep a bit right below the fitting.
There's not enough slack fuel line to cut it again, so I need to "splice" in a length of fuel line.
