It's a minature crank handle that is clipped to the side that fits into the end drive. You just insert it into the end of the motor and crank the sunroof by hand. You may have to watch to see which way it starts to move -- try it both ways feeling how much interference there is so you don't overcrank and break the drive cable. I think that's what CBS and others are referring to.
