Anyone try 15 in. wiper blades on passenger side?

I have 16 inch Bosch Icons on, but as others have noted, the last 1-2 inches of the blade don't rest on the curved windshield - worse than my old Microedge.
I'm just thinking of putting new Microedges on, and maybe 15in. on the passenger side will make better contact. Sure, I lose an inch of coverage, but the rubber always dries and deforms where the end of the blade doesn't sit on the glass - shortening the life.
Anybody else try this idea?
