Taillight- brake/reverse lens inside deterioration. Posted by Frak [Email] (#1515) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Frak) on Sat, 10 May 2014 04:43:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The passenger side corner brake/running light is providing light to the clear reverse lens portion of the taillight continuously. When the brake is applied the clear section becomes brighter as well.
I have inspected both corner brake/running lights inside and out and cleaned them thoroughly. I can not see any difference. I do not have the issue with the drivers side. I suspected to see (or not see) missing material in the passenger side allowing light to pass but I don't see any difference between passenger and drivers side. I changed all the bulbs to correct Wagner 5/21W thinking maybe that bulb was too bright but now I just have very clean lens' with nice bright bulbs all around. (Not complaining about that)
Any thoughts on what I'm overlooking here? Thanks in advance!
