Somehow I think all these incidents are related: a few weeks ago driving in town, the car momentarily "hestitated" - engine lights briefly came on - but otherwise continued to drive ok.
Last week, I pulled into my garage, stopped the car, then attempted to restart a few minutes later and it wouldn't kick over. Tried to start for maybe another 5 minutes or so, then let it sit. It restarted soon after and has been ok, though after that I thought maybe since I never put a fuel pump in the car since I got it, maybe it's a fuel issue, so I installed a new fuel pump. So far so good. Over the weekend, the car stalled while idling at a light. Not a kind of sputtery stall or anything, but just a sudden stall. It started up fine and I continued to drive without incident for the rest of the day. Today, it did the same thing once - just suddenly stalled while idling at a light. Started up fine and I continued on my way. Any thoughts would be helpful!! Car drives well, idles at a pretty constant 950, but you can hear a little "surging" in the idle, though it doesn't go over 1000. Thanks!! O2 sensor was replaced a few months ago.
