Sounds like the seals within the master are shot…
Easy to replace, as long as you don't mind getting the master out of the car…
Just sit down at a table covered in paper towels and slowly disassemble it…
THe seal kits come with an assortment of O-rings, and not all are necessary nor fit your master.
Clean all parts by hand, repack with new Orings, and re-install.
Get the master into place, but not tight, before attaching the clutch line…then you have wiggle to get that F-er flange of the line on without striping it.
