HI- i had been having a few intermittent stall issues with my 900s. mostly while idling at lights.
perhaps what i experienced tonight might put me on a closer diagnostic track: driving on the highway at about 55 - the RPM indicator starts going crazy -up and down - the car starts to hesitate then the engine lights come on - i was able to coast to a gas station. the car started right up again, but the RPM indicator still was bouncing around a bit. anyway, drove the car around slowly around the gass station for a bit and it seemed ok, and managed to get home fine - though i kept the car under 40 MPH - and it felt fine. so - i had been looking at the AIC, maybe the crank sensor? ignition module? throttle position sensor? all the vacuum lines seems ok. car seems to idle at about 950 but "pulses" a bit but doesn't go over 1000. after it warms up, the idle seems more even and it's around 900 or so. i'm sure one of you guys can probably point me in the right direction as far as solving this issue. as i said, for the past few weeks the car would randomly stall at a traffic light. at least it always would start up again! and so glad i managed to get home tonight without calling AAA! Thanks for your help!
