I have a 92 vert 100K.. recent : balancer/ belts /and all stuff that wears by the firewall. New clutch at 92K. various ignition components replaced over last 15K miles. L.H runs great but I know how much better T5 is from my old 9000 I had in the 90s

I acquired the car at 99K. I feel like I would be duplicating recent work by replacing a flywheel / clutch , etc. whenI was 16 in 1991 I replaced a clutch on a 78 99EMS but mechanical work is not my thing dont like it and risk of non-running car. I can do interiors fiddly electronics all day. My saab has 16K of receipts over last 8 years from P/O for basically all mechanicals / drivetrain/ exhaust brakes, etc. etc.

I would pay to have T-5 installed if I could as I try to keep my Wrenching jobs to 2-3 hour jobs tops. (I swapped interior / fixed brake lights in back / headlights/ guages/ brake accumulator / stereo since I got it) .. all 30 min to 3 hour jobs.

Or if I could work w/ someone knowledgable.. happy to compensate for time.. again keeping my time investment lower. I am good wih this stuff.. just do not have days to spend. Local shops have no familiarity w/ this.

thus my question on folks more local to DC. Metro.

I like the responses below and idea of trionic 5.2 is intersting. this was what was in my horror of a 1993 9000.. which ran great. Did I hear that the one year only Trionic 5.2 does not need a CPS / flywheel trigger. or benifits to the 2001/2 .. APC & DIC combo? where more of a wiring job?

I believe I have the perfect car to do this..
