About a week I posted while seriously freaking out over the daisy chain of bizarre electrical problems, following my reversing the polarity of a rear directional lamp while splicing in a trailer light harness.

I got some speedy and excellent feedback to my serial postings, managed to find a new flasher relay online for $18 including shipping, replaced it last night (getting the bolster/console out was a PIA, but manageable), and now everything is totally copacetic again.

Thanks to all of you out there who've repeatedly come to my rescue since my first c900 twelve years ago.

Without "we few, we happy few, we band of brothers" (no doubt there's a coupla women on the board also) here at SAABnet, no way that us amateur mechanics could ever keep these brilliant and beautiful cars still running.
