First, congratulations on finding a glass install company that is willing to do the job correctly.
The vert windshields are glue-in type. That helps with the rigidity of the frame. Many installers use a "universal" windshield molding, but that doesn't work as well on the lower corners. The OEM rubber molding is bonded together there making it a 1-piece seal. The OEM kit consists of plastic pieces (3) that attach to the perimeter of the windshield. There are three aluminum clips that cover the expansion gaps between the plastic pieces. Urethane adhesive is applied to the back side of the plastic pieces and the windshield in secured in place. Then the rubber surround is put on by inserting it into a channel on the plastic pieces around the windshield to seal the gap.
I have successfully pulled a couple of the windshield trim sets from cars at the junk yard, but it is a laborious process, and the urethane still needs to be removed from the plastic pieces, and they need to be prepped to get an acceptable bond with the new urethane.
Rumor has it that the OEM trim kits are no longer available from SAAB Parts USA. Skandex has them. (link below). If you can get the original style trim installed instead of a "universal" seal, that is the best option.
